The story, the numbers, the words you can quote, and who to call.

Founders are at the stand in Innovation Alley on Tuesday and Wednesday and on the record. The pitch final is Wednesday 16 September, 13:21, Corn Exchange.

The story in five lines
  • 1Companies are handing AI agents real jobs faster than anyone can check them. Gartner expects agents in four in ten enterprise applications by end-2026 — and 40 % of agent projects cancelled by 2027 for lack of risk controls.
  • 2There is a gap between what an agent says it did and what it did. Today the only thing that can read the whole record is another language model.
  • 3An Edinburgh lab built a way to record what an agent saw and said, from the outside, and check its claims against the record with fixed rules — no second model.
  • 4It runs in production inside a regulated medical device, was independently assessed by Edinburgh Napier University, and has scored 96 agents from other vendors on a public testbed.
  • 5The method is being handed to a consortium of UK universities, so that the verdict is independent of any vendor — including Xplore.

“A model can be talked into anything. A graph cannot.”
“Every agent vendor sells trust in its own product. Nobody sells the independent check. We are the roadworthiness test for agents.”
“Universities own the method. We own the instrument. That is the only way a verdict becomes independent.”
Boilerplate

Xplore Intelligence is an AI research lab in Edinburgh building the infrastructure for governing and assuring AI agents. Its platform records what an agent actually did, checks what it claimed against that record, and certifies the result — for any agent, on any runtime, without modifying it. The method, Node Resolution, is the subject of a UK patent application with 2025 priority and was independently validated at TRL 4 by Edinburgh Napier University in 2026. Xplore's first enterprise deployment runs inside a regulated medical-technology product; its public testbed, Agent 007, has scored 96 external agents since March 2026. The company is a member of Scotland's Critical Technologies Supercluster and a Tech Nation Breakout 50 company.
